Previously on apieceofus: The puzzle of sponsorship

I am now, as Soph predicted, going to ask for sponsorship for something I want to do anyway, namely cycling from London to Edinburgh - if you look at http://www.justgiving.com/alexander-campbell you'll see why. (Help for Heroes - a rather good charity for rehabilitating wounded servicemen and women.)
