War Cats

According to this, DARPA wants someone to build a "multi-chip neural system which would enable robotic platforms to perform at 'cat' level". A neural net as bright as a cat, for military use. They hasten to add: "The animal tokens... are indicators of complexity; they are not intended to specify particular architectural requirements or environmental behaviors". I think that's a good thing. I've known too many cats...
